Apple Gears Up For September Release Of The Much Anticipated IPhone 15 Series

Apple is gearing up to unveil its latest flagship smartphone, the iPhone 15 series, this September. As per a report by 9to5Mac, the tech giant is expected to host the launch event on September 13, with pre-orders commencing from September 15 and the official release slated for September 22. This follows last year’s pattern when pre-orders for the iPhone 7 began on September 9, and the phones hit the stores on September 16. The iPhone 15 series is set to introduce significant changes compared to its predecessors. The ‘Dynamic Island’ notch, previously exclusive to the Pro models of the iPhone 14 series, will now feature across all models in the 15 series. In a first for iPhones, the 15 series will also incorporate USB Type C charging ports.

The lineup includes four models: the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and Pro Max. The Pro models will sport a new titanium frame, replacing the existing stainless steel one, which is expected to reduce the weight of the phones. However, only the Pro models will house the new A17 Bionic chip, meaning those desiring the power of this new chipset will need to opt for the Pro models. Apple has also implemented a notable price increase for the new series, with the Pro models potentially seeing a hike of up to Rs 16,000. Despite this, Apple has introduced significant upgrades, particularly in the camera department. The new periscope lens stands out as a key feature of the iPhone 15 Pro series.
