What happens if a man falls into a lion’s cage? What if you see it? Let us say that we will be afraid and disturbed. Kunchacko Boban-Suraj Venjaramoodu’s film Grrr is the laughter in the lion’s den. It entertains and laughs and takes the audience to the lion’s den of good cinema. There is no fear, only bursts of laughter. Even as the old chocolate hero, Chakochan presents the fun of laughter without cracking. With the addition of Suraj, Garrr directed by Jay K is a total laugh out loud.

Regimon Nadar is going through a big crisis in his life. Meanwhile, he gets drunk, gets excited, and jumps into the cage of Darshan, a lion in the zoo. With that, the whole country was shaken. Haridas Nair, a zoo employee, spearheaded the mission to rescue Regimon. But in the meantime, Haridas also falls into that trap. The film ‘Garrr’ is about the subsequent rescue operations and developments. Kunchacko Boban as Reggie and Suraj as Haridasa make the audience laugh enough. The director has managed to portray the two phases of love heartily even as humor is the lifeblood of the film.

The scenes with the lion are thrilling for the audience. Remarkably, these scenes were able to be shot in all their uniqueness. Therefore, the lion is an active character in the film. Chakochan has been able to deliver funny scenes flawlessly even as he plays the romantic hero. With Suraj’s breakthrough performance, Grrr is shaping up to be a great family film. The director’s attempts to talk about a topic that needs to be taken very seriously have been successful. Cinematographer Jayesh Nair also made the film look beautiful by creating the required frames. Don Vincent’s background score and Vivek Harshan’s editing are also commendable. Shaji Natesan and Arya have produced the film under the banner of August Cinemas. The film is written by Jai K and Praveen S.
