Vetrimaran And Surya Have Planned For Their Next Movie Get Ready For A Cinematic Revolution

According to the latest news, Suriya and Vetrimaran’s highly anticipated film ‘Vadivasal,’ based on CS Chellappa’s novel, will be delayed. Initially, it was planned for the film to start soon, but now Vetrimaran has requested more time due to the release of his film ‘Vithuthale 2.’ As a result, Suriya has decided to work on Sudha Konkara’s film next. Suriya is currently shooting for ‘Kankuva,’ directed by Siruthai Siva. This film marks Suriya’s 42nd film in his career and is a big-budget action film. Bollywood actress Disha Patani will be playing the female lead opposite Suriya. ‘Kankuva’ is being produced by Green Studios and is predominantly being shot in 3D technology. Recently, it was reported that the Hindi rights for the film were sold for 100 crores.

Initially, Suriya had planned to work on Vetrimaran’s ‘Vadivasal’ after completing Siruthai Siva’s film, followed by Sudha Konkara’s film, and then TJ Gnanavel’s film directed by Jai Bheem. However, there has been a change in Suriya’s plans. He has decided to prioritize Sudha Konkara’s film after Vetrimaran requested additional time for the release of ‘Vithuthale 2.’Earlier, ‘Vadivasal’ was scheduled to begin shooting in July, but due to the extended schedule of ‘Kankuva,’ it might be pushed to August. Vetrimaran has mentioned that more time is required for the writing of ‘Vadivasal,’ and the film is expected to be completed next year. It is worth noting that Sudha Konkara and Suriya’s previous collaboration, ‘Suraipotr,’ was a big hit, even though it was released on an OTT platform. This could be one of the reasons why Suriya is enthusiastic about working on Sudha Konkara’s film next.
