Veena Nandakumar Says Her Passion Is Not Cinema ; Before Came In Cinema She Worked As A Bank Employer

She reveals that she never pursued civil service studies and worked in the banking sector for a while. Even during that time, her interest in civil services lingered. However, her journey took an unexpected turn when she was selected for a project based on her photographs for a Malayalam magazine. Although the project did not materialize, it paved the way for her entry into the film industry.

According to Veen Nandakumar, her initial plan upon entering the film industry was not to become an actress. She had selected a project for which she had given her photos. However, her passion shifted towards acting after the release of the film “Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha,” where she played the lead role. Now, her focus is more on cinema.

She expresses her preference for cinema over civil services, stating that her passion lies in serving the country through acting. After her entry into the world of cinema, her love for acting grew, and she emphasized the importance of being recognized by people in various fields. She also reflects on the differences between life in Mumbai and Kerala, asserting that every aspect of life exhibits variations.

Veen Nandakumar acknowledges that criticism on social media exists, but she has not paid much attention to extensive critiques. She gained fame with her first Tamil film, “Oru Pakka Kadhai,” and continued to act in films like “Thottam” and “Bhishma Parvam.” Despite not receiving much attention for her first Tamil film, “Oru Pakka Kadhai,” she believes in the potential of Malayalis and asserts that Kerala is not as backward as some perceive it to be. She enjoys living in Kerala and appreciates the diversity of opinions and discussions on social media.
