The High Court has lifted the stay of actor Unni Mukundan’s molestation case. The woman who filed the complaint said that she did not sign the settlement. Lawyer Saibi Jose Kitangur, who is accused in the bribery case, appeared for the actor in the case. The High Court said that the matter is serious. but Unni Mukundan wants to cancel the case. The High Court had stayed further proceedings in the case for two years.
Adv. Cybi Jose Kitangur is appearing for the defense in the case. The case is that the actor tried to rape the woman who had come to discuss the script of the film in a flat in Ernakulam and behaved in an insulting manner toward womanhood. the case was registered against Unni Mukundan by the Magistrate Court. Earlier, the Magistrate Court and the Sessions Court had rejected the plea filed by the actor requesting to be excluded from the case.
