The upcoming family drama Varisu, starring Thalapathy Vijay, is widely anticipated by movie lovers. The movie’s audio premiere event will take place on December 24th of this year, according to the most recent rumors surrounding the eagerly anticipated project. For those who are unaware, the producers have released three songs from Varisu thus far: Soul of Varisu, Ranjithame, and Thee Thalapathy. The tunes for the drama were composed by renowned composer S Thaman.

Varisu, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, tells the story of a young guy who is the son of a business magnate. Thalapathy Vijay plays the role of the young man. He inherits his father’s empire at the hand of fate in some challenging circumstances. The film’s impressive ensemble cast, which stars Rashmika Mandanna as the protagonist, also includes R Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Khushboo, Srikanth, Shaam, Yogi Babu, and Sangeetha Krish in supporting roles.
The movie Varisu will be shown in theatres on January 12, 2023, during Pongal. The family comedy will compete at the movie office with Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu. The two stars will clash after a lengthy hiatus of nine years.

Thalapathy Vijay’s reaction when he learned that his film will be competing with Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu was recently disclosed by actor Shaam, who is also a member of Varisu’s ensemble. According to Shaam, the protagonist was quoted saying, “Hey jolly..!! Let both films be released on the same day. Ajith Kumar is my dear friend. Let both Thunivu and our film do well.”
