Singer Manjari recently celebrated her debut in film music direction for the movie ‘An,’ helmed by Siddharth Siva. She joyously shared her journey as a music director through her YouTube channel, unveiling a recording video of the song that opens with ‘Manamoru Kiralai.’The film ‘An’ features Sajitha Math and Namitha Pramod in prominent roles, produced by Siddharth Siva and B Rakesh. Actress Sajitha Math is credited with the script. Notable actors Sudheesh and Asha Aravind also contribute to this cinematic venture. The film was previously showcased at the prestigious IFFK.
In addition to her role as a music director, Manjari is also making a comeback with a song in the movie ‘Achuwinte Amma,’ directed by Satyan Anthikad. She had previously received the state award for best female singer in 2004.Manjari’s involvement extends beyond composing the tune; she lends her vocals for the song and takes charge of the film’s background music composition. The poignant lyrics are penned by Vijayaraja Mallika, Malayalam’s first transgender poet, marking a significant milestone in Mallika’s literary journey as a songwriter for a film.”
