The Ukrainian Presidential Palace was filmed in front of the Mariinsky Palace in Kyiv. Rajamouli says that when talking about Natu Natu, the first thing that came to his mind was the location. It was actually supposed to be shot in India and it was monsoon season so another location was sought. When we realized that we were thinking of the President’s palace, we thought of looking for another place. But they said, this is Ukraine, you can do your job.
