Prabhas’s film Salaar achieved record sales even before its release. The film will be released on more than 5000 screens worldwide. Pratyangira Cinemas, one of Salaar’s foreign distribution companies, announced on Twitter that the film will be released on over 1,980 screens in North America alone. This is the first time an Indian film has achieved such a feat.Salaar is also a film that is released with huge expectations globally. Releasing in the US on September 27, Salaar has received more screens than any other Indian film before. The film will hit the screens in India on the 28th.
Salaar is a film directed by Prashant Neel. Prithviraj is playing the lead role along with Prabhas in the film which is being prepared for pan-Indian release. Salaar is a mass action adventure film shot in India, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, etc. This film starring Shruti Haasan will hit the big screen in India in five languages, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi. Jagapathi Babu, Madhu Guruswamy, Eshwari Rao, Shriya Reddy, and others are playing other characters in the film. The screenplay is by Prashant Neel.
