In a recent development, actor Shiyas Kareem has been granted interim bail by the High Court in connection to a rape case. The High Court’s decision includes a directive for Karim to appear before the Magistrate Court and be released on conditional bail. The case stems from a complaint filed by a woman under Chandera police station, alleging torture and abuse by Shiyas Kareem under the pretext of marriage. The complainant, originally from Kasaragod, claimed to have faced torment since April 2021 with false promises of marriage. She further reported being physically assaulted when she pressed for their marriage.
Moreover, the woman stated that Karim had misappropriated lakhs of rupees from her. She is currently employed in Ernakulam.Following the surfacing of the complaint in the public domain,Shiyas Kareem responded by criticizing the media that covered the news.
