At the same time, Janardhanan had openly stated that he had never coveted the award. The actor says that despite acting in movies for so many years, he has not thought about it. Janardhanan says that the biggest award I got was for getting good movies. “I have not won any award. My award is for being able to do a lot of films that satisfy my mind.

Give the award to be better people than me. So I believe. That faith reassures me. I never felt that the award was given out of motivation. Because I never thought about it. The truth is that I did not go for it as I could only understand who was buying it if I went after it to get the award.

But that does not mean that the award will not be accepted. At some point, we will get what we deserve. Salim Kumar received the award here. I’m pretty sure he didn’t go after this. I would be happy to get an award like that one day. Janardhanan said.

Janardhan came to Malayalam with the film ‘First Journey’ directed by KS Sethumadhavan. He acted like a villain and co-star early in his career. He was active in Malayalam from 1970-80 and acted with many old actors like Prem Nazeer and Jayan. The 1988 Mammootty film A CBI Diary marked a turning point in the actor’s career.
