One of the first news that shocked the Tamil film world was Vignesh Sivan being dropped from directing Ajith Kumar‘s next film AK62. The withdrawal comes after earlier producer Lyca Productions released an official press release saying that Vignesh Sivan will direct Ajith’s next film. However, it was not clear until recently what made Vignesh quit AK62. According to the information coming out, Ajith was giving a date who liked Vignesh’s one line.
But when it became a full script, it did not come up to the standard Ajith expected. With this, Ajith Vignesh left the film as the corrections were suggested but the corrections did not improve the script. But Vignesh has finally come up with an explanation for the rumors. Vignesh says that the producers were not satisfied with the second half of his script and that’s why he was dropped. Vignesh stated in an interview that Ajith Kumar is not responsible for what happened. Vignesh also wished Magir Thirumeni, who is going to direct Ajith’s new film.AK62 is a disappointment to me. No mistake has been made on Ajith Kumar’s part. The second half of the written script was not liked by the producers. “I am happy to have someone like Magir Thirumeni,” he said in an interview with Galata.
