The budget of the film is 500 crores, where VFX is very important. The latest reports say that about 85 percent of the film was taken back before its release. According to Bollywood Hungama, the film grossed Rs 247 crore through sales of satellite, digital, music, and other rights. It is also said that the film earned Rs 185 crore through theatrical distribution rights from South India. The movie is releasing on June 16. The film is being made in 3D. The film will also release in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil languages. After Tanaji, the film directed by Om Raut features Prabhas as Raghava and Saif Ali Khan as the villain Lankesh.
