The baby python was caught in the backyard of director Alphonse Putran’s house. 16 babies were found. The auto driver who passed in front of the director’s house saw the baby snakes on the road. Then they went to the gate, the yard, and the Koval Valli nearby. Shine, an expert snake catcher reached the spot. With the help of locals, they were bagged and handed over to the forest department.
Baby snakes were also found inside two pipes abandoned by the water authority near Alphonse’s home. There are also eggs. One side of the pipe was covered with soil. The other part was closed and secured by some of the locals.
