The highly anticipated film “Adipurush” is set to release in just three days, creating much excitement among fans. The movie stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles, and it is directed by Om Raut, with Bhushan Kumar as the producer. Based on the epic Ramayana, “Adipurush” has received a U certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and has a runtime of 2 hours and 59 minutes (179 minutes).
The film is generating significant buzz and the producers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure a wide release on June 16. Based on early trends in screen bookings, “Adipurush” is expected to release on approximately 4,000 screens in Hindi and over 6,200 screens nationwide. While the final count of screen bookings will be known by Thursday noon, it is already anticipated to be the biggest release of the year in both 2D and 3D formats. Advance ticket sales for “Adipurush” opened on Saturday evening and, within the first two days, approximately 62,000 tickets were sold for the opening day alone across three popular chains: PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis. For the Hindi version, the film has sold around 1.13 lakh tickets for the weekend in these three chains. These numbers indicate strong audience interest, and the film is expected to achieve an advance booking count of around 2.5 lakh tickets in the three chains by Thursday night.
