Elon Musk said that Wikipedia is losing its ‘objectivity’

Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla and reputedly the richest man in the world, has trolled Jimmy Wales, the founder of Wikipedia. Here’s why. He tweeted, “Wikipedia is losing its objectivity.” This is what transpired.

Everybody is aware that any article on Wikipedia is editable. Americans have been engaged in a sort of campaign to change the definition of recession since Thursday. In an effort to mediate the conflict between the competing groups of Wikipedia editors, the editing feature was turned off.

The Biden administration downplayed US economy data that indicated that the nation had entered recession, which sparked an editing conflict. The last two quarters have seen negative growth for the nation. Two consecutive quarters of negative growth have historically signaled a recession in the nation. The Biden administration, though, refrained from invoking the dreaded phrase.

The US government’s Commerce Department claimed that the nation is on the right track and will come out stronger after “this transition.” Kevin McCarthy, the leader of the opposition, shot back with a stinging retort that Biden would like to redefine recession to reestablish a robust economy.

An editing battle broke out on Wikipedia’s recession page as a result of these events.
