Russo Brothers mentioned SS Rajamouli ‘The great’

The Russo Brothers, who directed The Gray Man, and Indian filmmaker SS Rajamouli had a conversation to talk about the RRR trend that is sweeping Hollywood. Since its release earlier this year, SS Rajamouli’s epic opus RRR has won praise from all around the world. The Ram Charan and Jr. NTR starrer “RRR” has become the most watched Indian film on Netflix, which surprised the film’s director.

In a Netflix-arranged interaction with Russo Brothers, SS Rajamouli said, “Yes, I was surprised with the reception from the West.” After the interaction, Russo Brothers called SS Rajamouli the great as he tweeted, “Such an honor getting to meet THE great S.S. Rajamouli…” The director replied, “The honour and pleasure are mine.. It was a great interaction. Looking forward to meet and learn a bit of your craft.”

Despite having an around  Rs.300 crore budget, the movie made about Rs.1200 crore during its theatrical run. The most watched non-English movie on the platform is RRR. Ram Charan deserves a chance to play James Bond, according to Cheo Hodari Choker, the creator of Luke from Marvel and a Stanford alumnus.

For those who are unfamiliar, RRR is a fictional story of the lives of revolutionary independence warriors Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR, respectively. It also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson, Olivia Morris, and Shriya Saran portrayed supporting roles with Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt in the film’s key roles.
