Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister CN Ashwat Narayan has said that the government is planning to vaccinate all university and college students in the state within 10 days to reduce the spread of the second wave of Kovid. A statement from the Deputy Chief Minister’s Office said the scheme covers students studying in polytechnics, ITIs, engineering, undergraduate, medical, paramedical, and university campuses and students registered under the CM’s Skill Development Scheme. Ashwat Narayan, who is also the Minister for Higher Education in Karnataka, had a meeting with experts from the Health Education Department. It was decided at the meeting that it was necessary to organize a vaccination drive for college university students. The decision was also made to prevent Kovid from defending the third type.

It will also increase the oxygen production capacity of the state. At the same time, no official announcement has been made as to when schools and colleges in the state will be open. All academic activities are now conducted online. The vaccination drive for students started on June 28th. On the first day alone, 94,000 students were vaccinated. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the concerned authorities have been directed to vaccinate all the students within ten days.
