Samantha is missing a few things as she is under treatment

Samantha Ruth Prabhu appears to be experiencing FOMO. In the hospital, the actress is presently battling the autoimmune disease myositis. After a protracted hiatus, she finally made an appearance on Instagram and disclosed that she had been receiving myositis therapy.

The actress has been fairly active on social media since disclosing her diagnosis and has also been providing updates on her next film Yashoda. But on Friday, Samantha shared a video of Australian DJ and well-known house music producer Wax Motif performing the EDM version of the song O Antava from Pushpa: The Rise, which stars Allu Arjun. Sharing the reel, Samantha wrote: “Missing out on all the action.” She also added a fire emoji to her story.

Samantha's song update

Oo Antava, Samantha’s first-ever original song from Pushpa, went viral online. Notably, Samantha considered rejecting the offer at first. She gave it some thought when Sukumar, the director of the movie, used Pooja Hegde’s dance routine in Rangasthalam as an illustration.

Meanwhile, a few weeks back, the actress revealed that she was battling Myositis. Sharing a picture from the hospital, Samantha wrote, “A few months back I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don’t always need to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon.”
