On National Film Day, Viewers Have The Opportunity To Watch Movies For Just Rs 99

As the nation gears up for National Film Day on October 13, cinephiles can indulge in the magic of cinema at theaters for a nominal entry fee of Rs 99. This initiative is aimed at revitalizing the film industry. Last year, on National Film Day, an impressive 6.5 million tickets were sold in a single day, and organizers are eager to see if this record will be surpassed. The Multiplex Association of India (MAI) has made it possible for movie enthusiasts to watch any show of their choice on October 13 for Rs 99, excluding recliner and premium formats.

“To unite audiences of all age groups in the joy of cinema, as we celebrate the triumph of numerous films at the box office this year, we extend a heartfelt thank you to all moviegoers and extend an open invitation to those who haven’t returned to the cinemas yet,” expressed a statement prepared by MAI. The Indian theater industry is currently thriving, evident in the tremendous success of various films across different industries in the month of August, achieving unprecedented box office collections. Despite recent increases in movie ticket prices, the Multiplex Association of India initiated a campaign last year to allow audiences to experience theaters at a reduced ticket price for one day annually. This year, the offer is being presented in honor of National Film Day. On October 13, movie enthusiasts can enjoy films on more than 4000 screens across the country for just Rs. 99. This incredible offer will be available at prominent multiplex theaters including PVR, Inox, Cinepolis, Mirage, CityPride, Asian, Mukta A2, Movie Time, Wave, M2K, Delight, all under the umbrella of the Multiplex Association.
