Alphonse Puthren is one of the best and most well-known directors in the Malayalam film industry and he has acquired his enormous fan base among the crowd with only a few modest bunch of movies. Alphonse Puthren, on the last day, took to his official Facebook handle to share the lyrical video titled ‘Jolly O Gymkhana’ from the upcoming Vijay – Nelson Dilipkumar film ‘Beast’. One of the fans mentioned Alphonse Puthren to do a romantic tale with Thalapathy Vijay, in the comment segment, and this was the means by which the director answered to the fan’s request, “ Thalapathy was the first to call me from Tamil Nadu after ‘Premam’ release, through his manager and producer Jagadeesh. I have met Thalapathy Vijay sir personally once. Hoping one day he will call me, to do a film. I am waiting.”

Alphonse Puthren’s debut executive endeavor ‘Premam’ clicked with the crowd for its execution-style and its interesting screenplay combined with the marvelous performance of the lead actors Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim, and Lalu Alex.
In the meantime, his impending undertaking ‘Gold’ featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara has wrapped up its shoot on Dec 4, 2021. ‘Gold’ will also mark Prithviraj Sukumaran’s first full-length feature film with Nayanthara although both the actors shared a small screen time together in the 2008 blockbuster film ‘Twenty: 20’.
