After living independently for quite a long time, director Bala and his better half Muthumalar got a formal divorce in the Chennai Family Court on 5th March. Completing 17 years of fellowship, the couple chose to choose different paths. Bala and Muthumalar got married at a traditional wedding function on July 5, 2004, in Madurai. They have a daughter Prarthana. The news of Bala and Malar’s separation came as a huge shock.
As per media reports, Director Bala and Muthumalar had been living independently throughout the previous 4 years. Their marriage hit the rock bottom when Bala got busy with his movies while Muthumalar would be seen hanging out with Jayam Ravi’s wife Aarti, singer Saindhavi and her friends from the film industry.
In the meantime, director Bala hit the features as of late over his last task, Dhruv Vikram’s Varmaa. He is presently preparing for his forthcoming film with actor Suriya. This is Suriya and Bala’s third film together after Nandha and Pithamagan. Jyothika will be seen sharing the screen space with Suriya as a female lead.
Famous actors like Suriya, Arya, and Vikram got popularity in Tamil cinema because of his films. The director’s films have won 13 state awards and 6 national awards till now. Bala was successful not only as a director but also as a producer. Bala made his debut in the direction in the year 1999 with Vikram’s Sethu.
The untitled film will have music made by GV Prakash Kumar and upheld by 2D Entertainment. The shooting for the film will go on floors soon.
