Disney+ Hotstar is preparing to implement password restrictions for its premium users. Presently, the premium account plan permits users to log in from up to 10 devices. However, under the forthcoming policy, this will be limited to just four devices.
The company believes that these new regulations may encourage users to purchase their own subscriptions. Currently, with approximately 50 million subscribers, Hotstar holds a leading position in the online streaming market in terms of user base.
