Trisha is a stunning South Indian actress with a large fan base who has worked with several leading heroes. Trisha is also called South Queen by fans, and the actress was most recently compared with actress Nayanthara. Nayanthara is called Lady Superstar by fans.  For the first time, Trisha discusses the comparison with Nayanthara. Trisha was originally cast as Samantha in Vignesh Shivan’s directorial ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal,’ alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. But the actress was not disappointed about missing out on the project because she had a reason for declining it, and she made her decision with a clear mind.

Trisha welcomed the comparison to Nayanthara that was made on social media, explaining that the contrast was due to the fact that both actresses began their careers at the same time and worked with the same cast of actors. Trisha handled the fan battle well, and she hasn’t had much interaction with Nayanthara. But she is upset with some fans who suppress the opponent while praising their favorite, and she has asked fans to look at the best of the two instead.

Trisha is now waiting for the release of her upcoming film Raangi. The film is directed by M Saravanan, and is set to hit theatres tomorrow, December 30. Reservations for the film are still being taken across multiple locations, and the FDFS for the film will begin at 7 AM IST in multiple locations.

Trisha is also in Mani Ratnam’s historical drama ‘Ponniyin Selvan,’ where she will play Princess Kundavai in the film’s second installment, which will be released in theatres on April 28, 2023.
