‘Kanmani Anpodu’ is a song from the 1991 Kamal Haasan starrer Guna directed by Santana Bharti. Ilayaraja composed the song for the film. The same song was used in the climax scene of the Malayalam film ‘Majunummal Boys’ directed by Chidambaram. After Manjummal Boys became a huge success, Kanmani Anpod again became trending in Malayalam and Tamil. After that, there were reports that Ilayaraja had sent a notice.
