The trailer of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, which is being prepared by Prabhas and Nag Ashwin under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies, has arrived. The trailer is three minutes and two seconds long. The trailer can be described as cosmic in one word. Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan are all present in the trailer. Earlier, the Amazon Prime Video animated series Bujji and Bhairava was released and received much attention.
The film will hit the theatres on June 27. The plot of Kalki is a journey spanning millennia, beginning with the epic events of the Mahabharata in 3101 BC to 2898 AD. Directed by Nag Ashwin after Mahanadi, the film tells the story of a post-apocalyptic era. The first glimpse of the film received a great response. Kalki is also the first Indian film to be launched at the world-famous San Diego Comic-Con event.
Deepika Padukone is playing the heroine of Prabhas in the film. Amitabh Bachchan is also playing the lead role in the film. Kalki also has the distinction of having Kamal Haasan as the villain. Dulquer Salmaan, Disha Patani, Pashupati and other stars are lined up in the film. The film’s music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
