Sunil Dutt and Nargis Dutt, two Bollywood stars, gave birth to Sanjay Dutt on July 29 in Bombay. At the time, both were among the most well-known performers in Bollywood. Sanjay and his sisters, Priya and Namrata, grew up in the opulent and glamorous Bombay.

Sanjay Dutt made his Bollywood début in 1981 with Rocky, as fans would be aware. His father, Sunil Dutt, was the film’s director, and it was a huge success. Sanjay became a household name as a result of the movie’s office success. Fans are unaware that his mother, Nargis, passed just a few days prior to the film’s debut. It was claimed that the actor had retained explosives and weaponry used in the blast for gangsters. The actor received an 18-month jail sentence as a result. Due to his illegitimate possession of weapons, Sanjay was detained under the TADA (Terrorist and Disruptive (Prevention) Act). The Supreme Court upheld Sanjay Dutt’s conviction for illegal possession of weapons in relation to the 1993 Mumbai attack. In 2013, he received a five-year prison term.

Sanjay was granted a good behavior bond and released from prison in 2016. Richa Sharma and Sanjay were wed for nine years. The actor married Rhea Pillai in 1998 after his first wife died of brain cancer. The two parted ways in 2005 with a divorce. Sanjay married his current wife, Maanyata Dutt, in 2008, and the couple has been together since then.
