Director Basil Joseph gave birth to a baby girl. Basil shared the happy news by sharing a picture with his wife Elizabeth Samuel and the baby from the hospital. The baby girl has been named Hope Elizabeth Basil. We are excited to announce the arrival of the horseradish of our happiness. Hope Elizabeth Basil has already stolen our hearts.

Basil and Elizabeth got married in 2017 after a long courtship. Basil entered the world of cinema by directing and acting in short films while on campus at CET, Thiruvananthapuram. She made her mainstream debut by assisting in the film Thira directed by Vineeth Srinivasan.
