According to reports, Amal Neerad would write, direct, and produce the 2022 Malayalam gangster drama film titled “Bheeshma Parvam.” Mammootty, who plays the lead role, is joined by a large ensemble supporting cast made up of members of the Malayalam film industry. The movie was a major hit in Kerala as well, making more than Rs 100 crore at the Malayalam box office and becoming one of the all-time highest-grossing Malayalam movies. Telugu actress Anasuya Bharadwaj also had a significant role in “Bheeshma Parvam” as Mammootty’s companion.
Now, Telugu actor Chiranjeevi, who scored a hit with “Godfather,” is said to have acquired the rights to adapt Mammooty’s movie “Bheeshma Parvam.” Incidentally, ‘Godfather’ is also a remake of the 2019 superhit Malayalam movie ‘Lucifer’ which had Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal playing the lead role. According to Megastar fans’ speculation, Chiranjeevi’s upcoming movie will likewise be a box office success because Ramcharan has already secured the rights to adapt the popular Malayalam movie “Bheeshma Parvam.”
Some other hero fans, meanwhile, were waging a fight against mega fans, claiming that the Mega family had always been remaking stars and had never really found success in straight movies. Chiranjeevi is currently filming two movies: K.S. Ravindra’s (Bobby) “Waltair Veerayya” and Meher Ramesh’s “Vedalam,” the Telugu version of the 2015 Tamil movie.
