The fraud text message states that the message sent to the WhatsApp user is from the United Kingdom’s government and the applicants who are selected will be provided travel expenses, accommodation and medical facilities as well.

The message peruses that the UK has a requirement of 1,32,000 labor force, and for the equivalent, the public government of the UK is running an enrollment pass through WhatsApp, where the nation is willing to hire 186,000 specialists across the world.

The fraudsters have likewise added a link to the message which when clicked by the user, which takes them to one more fake site, which seems to be like the UK Visas and Immigration site. The hackers have been trying to collect the personal data of the users, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, and employment status from various countries.

Malwarebytes has revealed that the application structure is consequently supported when the user fills in the expected data. The scammers will also communicate something specific which will express that they “will be given a work permit, visa, plane tickets and accommodation in the UK for free.”

What to do if you receive such messages on WhatsApp?

  1. If you receive a message from someone from your contact list, then WhatsApp allows the user to either Report or Block the sender
  2. And if there is some unknown source sending you the message, you must ignore the messages and further report by clicking on the report button.
  3. Unknown sources sending links and no communication should further be blocked by the user to save from any kind of trap
