Send WhatsApp messages without having to type or even touch your smartphone

Whatsapp

The most popular instant messaging service is WhatsApp. We all use WhatsApp for daily communication, and the Meta-owned service offers a variety of features that can be used to enhance the user experience.

There is a way for you to type and send WhatsApp messages without having to type or even touch your smartphone among the plethora of functions that WhatsApp and our Android or iOS operating systems provide.  There are numerous ways to do this depending on the operating system, and it works on both iOS and Android.  If you’re wondering how it can be done with voice commands. Basically, you may use voice control to ask your voice assistant to type and send a message for you if you’re too lazy to type on your smartphone.

You must first check to see if voice command and Google Assistant are turned on on your phone in order to send texts without having to type them. Follow these instructions to do that:

SEND WHATSAPP MESSAGES WITHOUT TYPING ON ANDROID

  • Open the Google app on your Android smartphone.
  • Click on Your Profile in the top right corner.
  • Go to Settings > Google Assistant. Click “Hey Google And Voice Match.” If it is off, turn it on.
  • Now, follow the steps given on the screen to set up Google Assistant on your smartphone.
  • Once done, you can tell open Google Assistant, and tell it to send a message to any contact.
You may instruct your Assistant to “send message to Bengaluru Beat on WhatsApp,” for instance.
Your message can then be spoken aloud to be sent to WhatsApp contact once the assistant asks “ok, what is the message?” Google Assistant will say “no WhatsApp contact found” if the phone number is not WhatsApp contact.
SEND WHATSAPP MESSAGES WITHOUT TYPING ON IPHONE

Sending messages on WhatsApp is relatively similar for iPhone users. You need to ask Siri to complete the identical action instead of Google Assistant. But first, check your settings to see if Siri and voice commands are turned on.

  • Open Settings on your iPhone, then go to Siri & Search.
  • Now, you can either activate Siri with your voice by turning on Listen for “Hey Siri” or you can activate Siri with a button.
  • Once you have activated the voice command, scroll down the screen and find WhatsApp.
  • Enable “Use with Ask Siri” on WhatsApp.

Now, all you have to do is ring Siri up and tell it to send a WhatsApp message. Before sending the message, Siri will also show you a preview of it. She will then ask you whether you are ready to send the message. If you respond “Yes,” the message will be sent.
