Enjoy weekend with these South movies on OTT

The weekend has a film marathon. If you’re looking for enjoyment, don’t miss this week’s release of a few content-based and action masala movies on OTT platforms. With the releases of Sita Ramam and Bimbisara, audiences will be singing Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, and Kalyan Ram’s names in the theatres. However, the OTT space is also home to movies like Kaduva, Best Film from Kerala State Awards Aavasa Vyuham, and many others.

South OTT movies that will be available this weekend:

Kaduva

Kaduva, a film starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and directed by Shaji Kailas, is a must-see. The drama, which takes place in the 1990s, centers on a dispute between a rubber farmer and a high-ranking police officer. Vivek Oberoi, Samyuktha Menon, and other actors are featured in the movie. On August 4, Kaduva will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Pakka Commercial

Pakka Commercial, which Maruthi directed, was released in theatres last month to mixed to unfavorable reviews. This courtroom drama, in which Gopichand and Raashi Khanna are the main characters, centers on a conflict between a father and son combo who are also attorneys. The movie will be accessible on Aha on August 5.

The Aavasa Vyuham

The Malayalam science fiction film Aavasa Vyuham, which stars Rahul Rajagopal, Zhinz Shan, Sreenath Babu, and others in significant parts, won the category of “Best Film” at the Kerala State Awards 2022.  Sony LIV will begin streaming it on August 4th.

John Luther

This Malayalam film is starring Jayasurya and was made under the direction of Abhijith Joseph. While looking into the disappearance of a teacher, Jayasurya portrayed the title character of a police officer who has lost his hearing and ruptured an eardrum. The movie has gotten favourable reviews and will be available on ManoramaMax on August 5.

19 (1) (a)

A Malayalam movie about constitutional rights with Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen in the key roles is titled 19 (1) (a). The movie will have its digital premiere on Disney+ Hotstar after deciding to go that route for distribution. The film about freedom of speech and expression, a basic right protected by Article 19(1)(a) of the Constitution, was directed by Indhu VS.
