Cross-border tensions prevailing at the line of control has prompted the Indian army to retaliate against Pakistan’s increasing ceasefire violation. Pakistan army administrative HQ was targeted along LoC near Poonch by Indian Army in retaliation to Pakistan’s mortar shelling of Poonch and Jhallas on October 23. An explosion occurred at 10.45 am inside the 93rd brigade headquarters at Moti Mahal.The explosion took place at an army camp in Poonch district, smoke was also seen billowing out of the site. However, no loss of life or property was reported.General Rawat was speaking about the killing of Sub-Inspector Imtiyaz Ahmad Mir of Criminal Investigation Department wing of the police in Srinagar’s Sheergadi area. The Kashmir Zone Police confirmed his death through Twitter.Last week, two terrorists were neutralized by the Indian security forces, though, one jawan was martyred in an encounter in Malganipora area of Sopore in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
