The T20 World Cup between India vs Pakistan match has never been so interesting and exciting in the past few years. Both teams scored more than 300 runs in this match. The win was decided at the very last minute. But the real hero of this match was Virat Kohli. Kohli scored an unbeaten 82 off 53 balls with six fours and four sixes to seal India’s victory. After this victory, social media was praising Virat and the Indian team, wouldn’t you be surprised if we told you that a flight was delayed by five minutes to watch the last two crucial overs of this match? One Bollywood actor has told the incident that really happened at Mumbai airport.

Hours after India’s win, actor Ayushmann Khurrana tweeted three tweets. In this tweet, he said that the flight was delayed by five minutes so that he could watch the last two overs of the match. “This is something I can tell my future generations. I watched the last two overs of the India-Pakistan match on the Mumbai-Chandigarh flight. I watched the last two overs in a similar fashion while other passengers were also glued to their smartphones minutes before take-off. I believe the pilot, who is a cricket fan, deliberately delayed by five minutes. And what’s more, no one has complained about it,” said Ayushmann.

Passengers are usually instructed to turn off their smartphones, and tabs before they start running on the runway during a flight. But Ayushmann has said that the plane started running on the runway and moments before take-off all the passengers raised their hands and shouted to celebrate the victory. “Pandya and Dinesh Karthik are out. Then Ashwin came in to bat. He left the wide ball with ease. He took the final run. I have never seen such simultaneous cheering on a plane before. All this happened when our plane was ready to run on the runway. The pilot also achieved perfect timing,” Ayushmann said in another tweet.

“I wish I could have recorded this. But I have to admit that I find it difficult to do such things in public life. I wanted to live that moment. I thank Virat Kohli and the Indian team for giving the country a chance to celebrate Diwali a day earlier,” Ayushmann said in his last tweet.
