On May 31, singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, also known as KK, passed away. Everyone is in shock over KK’s abrupt passing. When he passed away, he was 53 years old. After giving a live performance at a college festival at Kolkata’s Nazrul Mancha auditorium, he became unwell. After the event, he apparently complained of feeling sick. He was taken to the city’s CMRI hospital, where the staff immediately proclaimed him dead. His wife, son, and daughter all still live.
Today on KK’s 54th birth anniversary, his spouse Jyothy Krishna took to her Instagram handle to wish her late husband. Sharing an unseen picture, she captioned the post: “Happy Birthday Sweetheart. Love you, miss you sooo much, it hurts.” In the picture, the singer is seen holding his wife close as they posed for the camera. Fans dropped immense love in the comments section. A user wrote: “Eternal he is!!! May you be blessed with strength and courage… Much love to you always.” Another user said: “Happy Birthday sir, we all love you soo much, Miss you.” While a third user wrote: “sir is always with u..stay strong.. god bless u all..”

When she shared the article, she added the words “Trying to paint again, Miss you sweetheart” and a heart emoticon. KK married Jyothy, his childhood sweetheart, in 1991. Together, they are the parents of Tamara Kunnath and Nakul Krishna Kunnath.
