Tovino Thomas has united with the Mollywood film director Aashiq Abu for the thriller, Neelavelicham. As the film buffs anticipate to watch the task on the huge screens, the producers have uncovered the first look banner from the film. Neelavelicham is based on the most acclaimed works of the veteran Malayalam author Vaikom Muhammad Basheer, Neela Velicham. Before this, this short story was converted into a movie Bhargavi Nilayam in 1964. The horror drama stared Prem Nazir, Madhu, and Vijaya Nirmala in the lead roles.
Neelavelicham was at first to star Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kunchacko Boban and Soubin Shahir, yet they were then replaced by Tovino Thomas, Roshan Mathew and Shine Tom Chacko.
