Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal Movie Review

Director Vignesh Shivan’s Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal intends to be a rom-com with a pleasant idea at its core. It is about Rambo (played by Vijay Sethupathi), who is made to believe that he is the unluckiest individual in this world. Also, he feels fortunate when he becomes hopelessly enamored with two ladies, Kanmani Ganguly (played by Nayanthara) and Khatija (played by Samantha), simultaneously. Basically, he’s two-timing, but he has a ‘reason’ for it.

In the event that you ask, what’s the great idea here, you’re correct. There isn’t. This is an ethically imperfect idea that has converted into ‘notorious’ films over the most recent couple of many years. Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal is the same love triangle drama films that turned out before.

Vignesh Shivan is known for building quirky worlds in his films. In Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, we see a family brimming with single individuals as the village thinks that those who get married into the family will die. Vijay Sethupathi’s Rambo likewise has a place with a similar family. His dad passes on the day Rambo is conceived. Also, the whole town thinks it is a result of him. His mom experiences a stroke she is also sick-abed. Rambo feels that his mom won’t recover assuming he’s with her and leaves his home. Years after the fact, he is a taxi driver and when he meets Kanmani and Khatija, he experiences passionate feelings for the two of them.

Rambo says that he cherishes them similarly and at whatever point he’s compelled to pick one among them, he hesitates. So sweet, right? Yet, it truly isn’t.  In this film, not one, yet two ladies keep an eye on the manchild.

You get to see non-romantic love between the threesome, a person making sense of what ‘curse’ signifies, and irregular social messages about simple-minded individuals. In any case, everything is sewed together just to make Rambo believe he’s fortunate in this world.

Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha, and Nayanthara have conveyed solid performance and they are holding the boat from sinking. The parody arrangements function admirably and the three entertainers were a complete hoot. It was Redin Kingsley who stole the show in Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. Watch out for a scene in the second half where he tries to convince a woman to come out of her house.

Anirudh Ravichander’s music, the super hit tunes, and the ambient sound make the entire film charming. Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal has Vignesh Shivan composed on top of it.

Kala Master, Seema, Sreesanth, and Dhilip Subbarayan played their parts well. The comedy sequence between Redin Kingsley and Lollu Sabha Maaran were outright tomfoolery. The movie deals with passionless love, but the route it takes is extremely problematic. The main grouse of the film is that it never takes itself seriously.
