Right from the time Kuku (Varun Dhawan) focuses on Naina (Kiara Advani), he knows she’s the one. From youth to adulthood, theirs is a romance, yet five years into the marriage and things start to divorce. To such an extent that the two choose to head out in different directions, yet the greatest test is to tell their families. Particularly, to Kuku’s clearly and riotous family that is undeniably prepared for their more youthful girl Ginni’s (Prajakta Koli) wedding. Anil Kapoor is the outright energy everyone needs here. The role is tailor-made for him as he makes you pull for him regardless of every one of his erraticisms. Varun Dhawan exercises commendable restrain in an all-out family drama that uses comedic respite to come out of every difficult situation. Kiara Advani looks stunning in every frame and gives fine performance. Neetu Kapoor is extremely endearing and likeable and fits the in her role. In the second half, when her character gets to lead from the front, she is in her element. YouTuber Prajakta Koli makes a confident debut, but has a lot of room for improvement in the expressions areas. Maniesh Paul possesses all the necessary qualities.
