Yash-starrer KGF Chapter 2 impressed audiences in 2022 and went on to become one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time. Since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting KGF Chapter 3. With bated breath, fans have been anticipating a significant update on the third installment.
According to a report, production of KGF 3 will begin in 2025. In an interview with a newspaper, Vijay Kiragandur, the producer of the KGF series, stated that the director of KGF is currently preoccupied with the Prabhas-starring Salaar, which is set to be released in September. After Salaar, KGF 3 will be evaluated. “I predict it won’t go into production until 2025,” the film’s producer predicted. The producers intend to continue the series after KGF 3, and a different actor may succeed Yash in the role.
During the same conversation, Vijay suggested that Yash be replaced by another actor for KGF 3. “Normally, the leading actors in James Bond, Disney, and Marvel films are changed, and so is Yash,” said the producer. During the interview, he stated that they intend to create a Marvel-style world.
Vijay wants to create something similar to Doctor Strange, and he wants to include many characters from various films. It will broaden the audience’s reach. KGF 2 also had Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon playing pivotal roles.
Hombale Films was founded by Vijay. Kantara was created by the production company. The market for South films has expanded in recent years as a result of the enormous popularity of regional stories. Hombale films plan to produce a variety of stories and 5-6 films per year.
