As Rajkumar Hirani’s comedy movie ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S’ timed 19 years in Hindi film on Monday, entertainer Sanjay Dutt made an enthusiastic allure for fans in Nagpur to director Rajkumar Hirani to make ‘Munna Bhai 3’.
The entertainer was at the ‘Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsav’ at Ishwar Deshmukh College ground in Nagpur.
On the occasion, he said: “I am tired of requesting Raju Hirani many times. Since he hails from Nagpur, I appeal to Nagpurians to press him for making ‘Munna Bhai 3’ franchise”. It evoked loud applause from the people.
The full cast of ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S’with Sanjay, Arshad Warsi, Gracy Singh, Boman Irani, Jimmy Sheirgill, and Sunil Dutt, amongst the other cast members, entertaining us all the way. The film even went on to win a National Award for the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and its second part, Lage Raho Munna Bhai also garnered a lot of love. Ever since then, there have been a lot of speculations and news around the third part but nothing ever materialized. The full cast of the second film ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ included Boman Irani, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Jimmy Sheirgill, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Saurabh Shukla, and Parikshat Sahni, among others. We just hope that Rajkumar sir is listening to this request and we get to see Munna and Circuit grace our screens again, taking us on yet another fun-filled ride. The film won National Awards for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, for Best Screenplay, for Best Supporting Actor, and Best Lyrics.
