Vikram’s BTS video of Chola Chola song is trending

A short clip showing behind-the-scenes images from the filming of the Chola Chola song has been posted by the creators of Ponniyin Selvan-1. In the video, director Mani Ratnam and dance choreographer Brinda are seen instructing Vikram. Fast-paced beats accompany the song, which tells of the splendor of the Chola dynasty. It is voiced by Sathya Prakash, VM Mahalingam, and Nakul Abhyankar and was composed by AR Rahman. For the lyrics, Ilango Krishnan is responsible.

Mani Ratnam, Elango Kumaravel, and B Jeyamohan collaborated to adapt the novel by Kalki Krishnamurthy into a film. Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions collaborated to produce it. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prabhu, R Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Rahman, Riyaz Khan, Babu Antony, and R Parthiban are among the cast members. Ponniyin Selvan-1 will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi all over the world.

The film is being made in two parts, while the initial segment ‘PS-1’ is scheduled to release on September 30th, 2022. The novel has been written in five volumes. It is the story of Arulmozhi Varman. Arulmozhi Varman was later crowned Rajaraja Chola I and he was the most powerful king of his time who reinstated the glory of the Chola dynasty during his reign during the 10th and 11th centuries. Kalki had put enormous effort into writing this novel. It took him three years and six months to complete this novel. ‘Ponniyin Selvan‘ is one of the large forthcoming Tamil movies, and the film is set for a pan-India release.
