The introduction of the 67th National Film Awards was held before last week for films released in 2019. The esteemed awards were introduced by Indian Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu. Tamil entertainer Dhanush was given the Best Actor award for his work in Vetri Maaran’s ‘Asuran‘. Entertainer Vijay Sethupathi was respected with the Best Supporting Actor for his acting in his hit film ‘Super Deluxe’.

Vijay Sethupathi in Super Deluxe played the role of a transsexual lady, Shilpa. Shilpa goes to her husband and child after going through the progress. The cast of the film his incorporates Fahadh Faasil, Samantha Akkineni, Ramya Krishnan, Mysskin, Gayathrie, Ashwanth Ashokkumar, Bagavathi Perumal, and Mirnalini Ravi.
