Veteran Sandalwood actor Rajesh dies at 89

Famous veteran Kannada actor Rajesh, likewise affectionately known as Kala Thapaswi, dies at 89 because of old age-related issues. Since February 9, the Kannada star was hospitalized and was going through treatment in Bengaluru because of old-age-related illnesses. Be that as it may, regardless of a few endeavors, he passed away at night at 2:30 AM.

The mortal remains will be kept at his Vidyaranyapura home to give proper respect till evening. The last rituals will be conducted this evening. Leading film personalities and political leaders condoled the demise of the actor. Rajesh was made by his 5 children including actress Asha Rani, who is married to south actor Arjun Sarja. Rajesh had even lost his wife recently. Rajesh started his profession as a stage artist and proceeded to act in several performances, which got him decent fame. Rajesh was born on 15 April 1935 in Bengaluru. His passion for acting started at a tender age, as he joined a theatre troupe. His stage name was Vidya Sagar veteran director Hunsur Krishnamurthy who presented Vidyasagar in the Kannada film Veera Sankalpa in 1964. The 1968 film Namma Ooru was the defining moment of his profession as it transformed into a blockbuster hit at the theaters and shot him into the spotlight. He showed up in many movies as the lead in the last part of the 1960s and mid-1970s, yet later on, began showing up in character roles.

Talking about his career in the film industry he has spent more than 45 years. The actor has acted in more than 150 movies. His collection of memoirs Kala Thapasvi Rajesh Atmakathe’ came out in 2014.
