On January 30, Vijay’s association with ‘Master’ director Lokesh Kanagaraj for Thalapthy 67 was officially confirmed. According to reports, the cast and crew have arrived in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, to begin shooting.
Vijay’s reunion with Lokesh Kanagaraj was finally unveiled yesterday (Jan 30), and the creators published a poster to promote the flick. The cast of ‘Thalapathy 67’ was formally announced by the film’s producers at the film’s premiere. The crew took a private plane to Kashmir this morning and will be filming important segments of the film in the Northern state for the next two months. Trisha, who is supposed to be playing the female protagonist in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s directorial ‘Thalapathy 67,’ was also spotted at the Chennai airport this morning, adding fire to the rumor of the actress’ coupling up with Vijay.
Trisha was seen wearing a casual checked full-hand shirt and matching black slacks while wearing a black face mask, and she looks so stylish and cool in her latest airport style. The directors have yet to formally declare Trisha’s presence in ‘Thalapathy 67,’ but the actress is slated to share screen space with Vijay after 15 years.

Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, and Nivin Pauly are rumored to be in the cast of ‘Thalapathy 67,’ while Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Sandy have confirmed their involvement. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, and this will be his fourth collaboration with Vijay, following ‘Kaithi,’ ‘Master,’ and ‘Beast’. Meanwhile, a trailer for Vijay’s character introduction in ‘Thalapathy 67’ is anticipated to be released shortly, and the directors are planning a series of surprises for fans.
