With his portrayal in the superhero movie Minnal Murali, Tovino Thomas, a well-known rising star of the Malayalam film industry, won the hearts of movie lovers everywhere. The outstanding director Basil Joseph’s in-house superhero movie had a straight OTT release on Netflix in December 2021. It has already been established that Minnal Murali would have additional episodes and is planned as a franchise. Tovino Thomas has since announced that he will soon be making a comeback as the superhero.
The rising artist recently said on his official Instagram account that Minnal Murali will be making a quick comeback as the universe is about to expand. Tovino Thomas will play the superhero in the upcoming Netflix Playback video, but he won’t play him in the movie’s sequel. “The gates of the Netflixverse have opened and universes are colliding. Your world will turn upside down. Stay tuned,” Tovino captioned his post.
Additionally, he posted a rare still from the next Netflix production in which he is seen engaging in combat with another well-known Netflix character. It’s interesting to see that the new still slightly alters Tovino Thomas’s Minnal Murali appearance. In contrast to his appearance in the movie, where he had a different hairstyle and stubble, the actor is seen sporting a thick beard and a different beard.
Vazhakku, a social drama that recently had its world premiere at the 27th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK), will be the outstanding actor’s next project. Ajayante Randam Moshanam, Tovino Thomas’ big project in which he will play three roles, is now keeping him very busy. In the eagerly anticipated follow-up to the Mohanlal-starring 2019 film Lucifer, L2: Empuraan, he is also scheduled to make a comeback as the youthful politician Jathin Ramdas.
