Ram Charan had made a statement about his forthcoming movie with Jersey-famous filmmaker Gowtam Tinnanuri. There were many rumors that their upcoming movie, which has the working title “RC 16,” had been postponed. Currently, Ram Charan’s PR team has announced that the movie has been put on hold. Yes, as previously announced, Ram Charan’s next project with Gowtam is not going to happen.
Ram Charan’s PR declared on Twitter that RC16 has been postponed. He wrote, “Our MegaPowerStar @AlwaysRamCharan garu’s next project #RC16 vth gowtam is not happening as previously announced, hope & wish it to happen at later point of time! Ram Charan garu’s new project announcement vl b Unveiling officially very soon, whatever the combo is, it vl be lit.”

In April, when such rumors rose, Ram Charan shot down the rumors in a media interaction and confirmed that RC16 is very much on. “Gowtam is working on an action-oriented commercial drama. There have been rumors that he is penning a sports drama, but that isn’t true. We are working on an action film. I have given him a free hand. I am excited about collaborating with a talented filmmaker like Gowtam,” Charan said.
Rashmika Mandanna was supposed to play the female lead in the film. In collaboration with NVR Cinema, UV Creations provided financial support for the movie. Now, it is known that RC16 has been put on hold for unspecified reasons. Ram Charan will shortly be unveiling his next, it also stated.
On the work front, Ram Charan’s next project is RC 15, directed by Shankar. Kiara Advani plays the female lead in the movie, tentatively titled RC15, which is produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. The actor is also enjoying the enormous success of SS Rajamouli’s film RRR starring Jr. NTR, which has set records not only in India but even in Japan. Additionally, the movie received nominations for the 2023 Oscars in many categories, including Best Actor.
