Only two days before the release of the movie, the producers have edited the much-anticipated film Radhe Shyam, featuring Prabhas. A 12-minute shorter version of the movie hit the screens this Friday around the world. The version submitted to the censor was around 150 minutes in length. In any case, the run-time of the film referenced on the ticket-booking platform is 138 minutes.
It is not yet clear why the producers cut the length of the film only 48 hours before its highly anticipated theatrical debut. Actor Amitabh Bachchan is the narrator for the upcoming movie. The multi-lingual love story is set in the background of Europe in the 1970s. The film will release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. It additionally stars Pooja Hegde, Sachin Khedekar, Sathyaraj, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Bhagyashree, Murli Sharma, Kunaal Roy Kapoor, Riddhi Kumar, Sasha Chettri and Sathyan.
Radhe Shyam will have a two-week theatrical run without much competition at the Telugu box office. The next big release will be director SS Rajamouli’s highly-anticipated movie RRR.
