Ace director Venkat Prabhu had declared a few months ago that he is teaming up with Naga Chaitanya. Probably named NC 22, the task will be the movie directo’s Tollywood debut. The Tamil-Telugu bilingual is being produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the flag of Srinivasaa Silver Screen.
The group had reported yesterday that they will share an update on the film today. Krithi Shetty has been roped in to play the female lead in the venture. Venkat took to his Twitter page to uncover the same with the post, “Welcome aboard The most happening @IamKrithiShetty (sic).”

A couple of moments later, they shared one more treat for film buffs. In all honesty, music maestro Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja have been welcomed on board to create music for the film. The first project for which the dad son couple made music, Maamanithan, is releasing tomorrow.

This is the second time Krithi will be matched inverse Chaitanya after Bangarraju (spilling on Zee5) which was released in venues recently. However producers are hush about the film’s classification, sources say that it is a court show, however an official declaration is anticipated on it.
The film’s shooting has started in Hyderabad, and the group is anticipating a theaterical release one year from now. NC 22 is Venkat Prabhu’s eleventh undertaking as a director and the creation organization’s tenth film. Venkat Prabhu’s last release was Manmatha Leelai in Tamil.
