Genelia D’Souza makes a rebound to acting after almost 10 years with Telugu-Kannada film
The actress is good to go to make a great rebound to acting with an upcoming Telugu film. The yet-to-be-named film presents Karnataka’s former minister and popular industrialist Gali Janardhan Reddy’s son Kireeti. Kireeti is playing the lead role in the film. It’s a Telugu-Kannada bilingual film and is directed by Radha Krishna.

The yet-to-be-named film has been launched yesterday with famous director SS Rajamouli as the chief guest. The creators of the film, Tollywood’s well-known creation house Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, shared a couple of pics from the launching ceremony. Genelia looks graceful as always with the other cast and crew members.

Talking about her comeback, Genelia said, “It’s been 10 years since I was away from acting. Finally, I am back with this movie. It’s a very special project. Good luck with the acting debut of Kireeti. The film has a great producer and a wonderful cast. It feels like I’m a newcomer, as coming back to sets after ages and working with this young team.” Kireeti, who is making his debut in films and is super excited to work with Genelia

Charged to be a young and family performer, Sreeleela is the female lead, while Genelia will be playing an important character in the movie. Kannada Legend Crazy Star Dr. Ravichandra V is also a part of the film. The film is produced by Sai Korrapati and will have music by Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad, while Baahubali’s lensman K Senthil Kumar will deal with cinematography.
