The movie will hit the theaters on April 14. It was earlier announced that the movie will be released on February 17, but at the same time, the makers have decided to release this movie in 3D as well.
Shaakuntalam is written and directed by Gunasekhar based on the love story of Shaakuntala and Dushyanthan from Mahabharata ‘Abhijnana Shakunthalam’.Mollywood actor Dev Mohan will be in the role of actress Samantha Shaakunthalam in the film. This film is being prepared on a big budget. Telugu actor Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arha is making her debut on the silver screen with the film Shaakuntalam.
